The Puffin Tasting Room is the site of daily Puffin wine tasting as well as our special Saturday wine tastings.
Come in by yourself or bring your friends. Visit during tasting time or rent the room for your own private party.
You will find delicious wines to taste, yummy bites to eat and you might meet a winemaker.
We think you will find our Tasting Room to be cozy and welcoming.
Puffin Tasting Room Hours
The Puffin Tasting Room is open Sunday to Thursday from 12-5pm, and we accept new tasting customers until about 4:30pm. On Friday and Saturday, our tasting room is open from 12-5:30pm and we accept new tasting customers until approximately 4:40.
Please Note-The Wine Shack and Puffin Tasting Room are closed on Tuesdays.
About the Tasting Lineup
We offer two Puffin Wine tasting lineups for you! Our “Classic” lineup includes 5 wines and offers you our whites, our Rose’ and our Puffin Pinot Noir. The tasting fee for the Classic tasting line up is $25 per person. Our “Red” lineup also includes 5 wines and costs $30. When you purchase two bottles from our tasting lineup, we are happy to refund your tasting fee.
We proudly pour our medal winning Puffin wines, but sometimes we may host a guest winery or have a themed tasting lineup.
On selected Saturdays during the year, The Wine Shack holds special “Winemaker Events.” These events are lot of fun and give you the chance to meet the winemaker and taste his/her wines.

Puffin Tasting Room Hours: Our Puffin Tasting Room is open Sunday-Thursday from 12-5, with the last pour starting at 4:30. On Friday and Saturdays, our Tasting Room is open from 12pm – 5:30pm, with the last pour starting at 4:40. Our Puffin Tasting Room is closed on Tuesdays. We do not require reservations for our wine tastings.

How to find us! The Wine Shack is located at 124 N. Hemlock Street, Cannon Beach, OR 97110.
From Portland: Travel Hwy 26 west to the coast until you get to Hwy 101. Go south on 101 four miles to the first Cannon Beach exit. Just before the exit you will get your first glimpse of Haystack Rock! Once you go through the stop sign, go over the bridge and you will pop right into the downtown area where Hemlock is the main street.
From South of Cannon Beach: Travel north on Hwy 101 to the Sunset Blvd Cannon Beach exit. Go west off the exit on Sunset Blvd to Hemlock and turn right. The Wine Shack is about 1.5 miles north on the left.
Once in Cannon Beach: The Wine Shack is located in the charming downtown area of Cannon Beach, Oregon, on the West (ocean) side of Hemlock Street. Our front door opens to a brick courtyard shared by the Coaster Theatre and the Lazy Susan restaurant. There is a public parking area behind the courtyard and parking is also available on Hemlock and in other areas around town. We are about 400 yards from the beach!
