Made from 100% estate Pinot Noir, this salmon-colored Rosé delivers smoky aromas of strawberry, rhubarb, pomegranate and candy apple. In the mouth, this wine is crisp and fresh, with a light presence of acidity that balances beautifully against flavors of strawberry shortcake and grapefruit zest.
Crafted in collaboration with Ray Walsh, winemaker for Capitello Wines in Eugene, OR — whose wines have earned Platinum, Double Gold and Best of Class honors across the Pacific Northwest — using fruit from Equinox Vineyard in the Willamette Valley.
The grapes are whole-berry pressed with limited skin contact to achieve the wine's signature salmon color, then fermented slowly in stainless steel to preserve its bright, fresh character.
Serve chilled. Puffin Rosé pairs nicely with a variety of foods, including burgers, tacos, grilled chicken and hard cheese plates. It also makes a wonderful companion for a summer day at the beach or on the patio.
