The Wine Shack has belonged to everyone who loves Cannon Beach since it was founded by Steven and Maryann Sinkler in 2007.

They spent years curating a collection of wines that rewards the curious, welcoming regulars and first-timers with equal care, and quietly becoming one of those Cannon Beach constants that locals count on and visitors remember long after they've gone home.

A place like that doesn't really change hands, it finds the right people to carry it forward, which brings us to Tammy and Michael.

Tammy Taylor has been part of the fabric of Cannon Beach for years, first through Love & Hemlock and The Water Witch — two shops that have become beloved corners of this community in their own right. She knows that the best spaces aren't just places to buy things; they're places where people feel at home. Her husband Michael Upwall has spent his career as an architect designing homes that don't impose on their surroundings but emerge from them — timeless, rooted, as if they were always meant to be there.

The wine is still exceptional. The welcome is still warm. And The Wine Shack is still, unmistakably, The Wine Shack.
